Love that fat synth in the intro:3
It really adds to the creepy halloween inspired (I'm assuming) riff.
The beats really funky too x]
I don't care much for the lead synths tone/sound though, what it's doing isn't bad, I just don't like the sound, but that's just my opinion. It's too...hallow? Idk, it feels like something was scooped out of it with eq, or something needs to be put in it with eq.

Towards the end I found the claps to be excessive, maybe try messing with the velocity to bring knock down a few and give it variety, or mix claps. Listening to them again they might be panned, if not that'd also be cool, each clap being on the other speaker, left, right, left, right, etc.

If you don't mind I'd really like a review on =ChaoticInferno=
Remind you this is the third review I've given you, the other two were more extensive.:3 Even pm-ing me an opinion would be cool. No obligation, I enjoy reviewing your stuff either way.

Thanks! You left some good ideas in this comment!
I listened and reviewed your ChaoticInferno song too and I hope it was helpful. You've got some awesome talent!

I'ma describe to you my thoughts on this.

(review's written stream of conscious while listening)
That intro melodies so sweet, great use of delay and reverb, and when the synth kicks in, that sudden low end makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Stirs up emotion, it's really good.

The transition's smooth (from intro to the dance-y part) and the kick seems perfect. The interlude felt like it came on to soon, but it's better then getting repetitive I suppose. Another smooth transition, and the change up surprised me going back into the danc-y stuff:] Ending lacked a climax though, it should've had a little extra something, an extention of the intro with new stuff, then faded out. Really that's just me though.

Hope you like my thoughts, and that they're coherent.

Great thoughts, thanks!

Cool twist on trance

The drums in the intro make up a melody on their own, distorted, and somewhat danceable. Though the synth that comes in every idk, 5-8 seconds in the beginning, I don't like it's tone, I imagine something saw-ier, or more distorted, at least at the begining, then maybe growing cleaner as it progresses, that might even make the transition smoother at 1:36. But you made the song so you'd know best what works, it's just my opinion anyway.

The piano melodies were very pretty.

I found it very refreshing as a trance song, would be awesome to see people dance to it. With all the claps in the intro, maybe change the ones that sound panned to the right, or make them quieter, and more consistent, it'd probably make the intro sound more structured to people.

Anyway I got kinda picky and think most of what I said might not be coherent or I explained it wierd. It's just opinions/thoughts/ideas I had while listening.

No no, your suggestions made perfect sense as I read them and are really good ideas! I'll keep them in mind for the next trance-ish song I try. Thanks for the 9 and for the great advice!! Hopefully I'll just get better and better...

I like it a lot

All the ambient like sounds in the intro are awesome with the steady wobble and I love the transition about a minute in.

If I were you I'd so finish this for Madness day.

thanks again for the review.

RandomDanceOfHappy responds:

sadly i just noticed this and its a few days after madness day haha XD maybe next year XD make sureto check my new stuff ;) if ya can check out evaluation its my lateist finished song ;)

^.,.,.^

I love the chord progression in the intro, and the piano tone.
The transition's pretty smooth, when the snare comes in. Main melody's really catchy at the end.
Should be amazing when it's finished:]

thanks for the review(s)

Thanks mate. Glad you loved it. Yeah it's still a work in progress though, a demo. and sure, no problem. :)

Really cool

This is a really good madness submission, it could easily be used by another flash artist for a madness day submission. The rubber duck sample is just awesomeXD I guess it's supposed to be a clown nose, but I thought rubber duck instantly.

Lots of tension in the track.

I don't have any real critique, it sounds good to me dude.:]

Hahaha! Thanks fo rthe review man ;)
Glad you really liked it! I spend days making this one track.

Delightfully Chaotic

So much variation, from 0:50 to 3ish minutes I could hear a very pretty chord progression, it was epic idk if it was there, or in my head, but that distorted arp that comes in at 1:30 follows it, it's so beautiful, but the distorted effects on the synth really keep the "madness" mood of the song. The melodies in the first segment are absolutely uplifting, it really gets my blood pumping dude. The fast paced drum transitions really added to the pace of the song, really liked the one at 4:41.

The transition after that into the next segment of the song is amazing, like entering a boss fight, I haven't seen the new madness, but this really sparks my imagination. And when you bring back that "bell" melody from the beginning of the song at 6:15ish, it makes the transition back to the first part really smooth. From there on it really felt like it was driving towards an ending, which is good. Loved the pluck melody that came in around 8:00, there's so much variation, samples, etc. everything going on at once, but the entire completely coherent, and smooth.

This is amazingly mixed well for having so much going on at once.
Anyone who complains it's "random" is likely tone deaf. But I guess this type of music isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Wow!! Thank you so much! This was a really hard song to make. Trying to keep the momentum and madness and melodies and beats all going at once was pretty difficult for me. There are some people who say that I didn't succeed in juggling all of those sounds but to hear your comment makes me feel pretty good about the finished product. I personally love this song and it's good to know that other people listen to the subtle, almost invisible, parts of the song that bring everything together. Thank you so much!!!

I'm stratkat, I make noise.
